The City is a Circle: Kudzu Foraging and Basket Weaving

Join us for the second event in The City is a Circle, a series of free walks, talks, and urban adventures on the Atlanta BeltLine, running the second Sunday of each month through April 2024.

Discover the wonders of kudzu foraging, experience the sculptural possibilities of this abundant resource, and learn the art of free-form basket weaving in this event, created by Art on the Atlanta BeltLine’s 2022-2023 Scholar-in-Residence, Rachel Parish.

Marie-Lies Van Asten of Fleur + Forage will guide participants through the process of harvesting kudzu and lead a workshop on how to transform it into beautiful baskets.
